With so many horses at Willis Creek Ranch, there is always a hoof that needs to be trimmed in the barn. Jackson has learned so much and is taking the lead on trimming these days. It is back-breaking work, but we sure are thankful that it can be done when needed. Here are a few photos from two days of trimming.
July 15, 2020 - first up was Piper.

You trim a horses hooves when they grow out too long in order to keep the hoof in good shape and good balance so they can move better.
