Field Trip

The preschool class from Faith Lutheran came to Willis Creek Ranch for a field trip this week.  We sure enjoyed their bright smiling faces, thoughtful questions and energy!!  4 year olds are a lot of fun!

They got to meet 'Marvin the cowboy' and see him ride a horse.  They also got to see him work a couple of horses in the round pen.  They had many good questions to ask him.  Then they all got to pet the horses.  After that it was time for a quick trip to the playset to burn up some energy.  Then back on the bus to return to school.

Highlights...
One little fella asked Marvin, "Are you a real cowboy?"  Marvin answered, "I'm an OLD cowboy!"  They also wanted to know if he wore those clothes all the time.  :)  One little fella just KNEW he already knew Jackson.  Try as we could we couldn't figure out who he was, but he sure was a cutie!  Whether they knew each other before or not, they certainly are buds now!!

Below are some photos, but you can see a whole album of photos here.

Getting ready for the field trip.

More questions for 'Marvin the Cowboy'.   :)

Marvin even worked Bella in the round pen a bit.

It was fun to see the old playset get appreciated and used!

It has been awhile since the boys were interested.   :)

Time to go...

Something we don't see at our barn everyday...  :)

I sure love these three...
