Dinner

So, I seriously had to consider the title for this blog post.  (You would never guess that by the creative title that I chose, huh?)  But, considering the way I titled a recent post, I figured I could call this one Dinner with Old Friends.  Then I figured that might not sound quite the way I mean it.   :D

We enjoyed dinner with dear friends (how about that instead of old?) on Sunday evening.  Several were tired from prom festivities (Jerry and Alicia were parent chaperones at After Prom) but we had a lovely evening together in spite of a little sleepiness.   :)  Deb brought her terrific tomato mozzarella salad and Alicia brought a yummy cheesecake with raspberry sauce.

One funny side note - I planned to grill Garlic Lime Chicken and Honey Garlic Pork Chops for dinner.  But when I went out to throw them on the grill we discovered we were completely out of propane!  Marvin and Jackson quickly ran down to steal a propane tank off of Mom and Dad's horse trailer and as soon as we got that switched out we were back on track.  However, it put us a bit behind and everyone had to wait a bit to start dinner.  Ah well...  good things come to those who wait?  :)
