Opening day of the fair - you know we have to get a breaded tenderloin from Trucks Place!

Jackson, Brianna and Maverick have arrived!
And Hannah behind them!

Celebrating Hannah and Jackson

February 20, 2022
We celebrated Hannah's birthday - and also Jackson's since we missed doing anything for his (when Marvin had covid).  It was very nice.  Dear Brianna made lunch for all.  It was delicious and I need to get the recipes from her.  She made two pasta dishes - one 'regular' and one gluten free.  She also made two cheesecakes - both gluten free.  Yum!!  What a delicious meal.

I had a weird hodgepodge of candles that we used.  Ended up using two candles in front of a number 6 candle for Jackson - to represent 26.  Or, as Jackson pointed out, he could be 116.  :)  For Hannah we did two rows of three candles for 33.  Or, for 6 years old.  ha!

One of Brianna's famous cheesecakes - white chocolate raspberry -
I must not have gotten a photo of the turtle cheesecake.

Kerry and Candace face-timed in for a bit - Maverick was talking to them.  :)

Daddy telling that he had wanted to type out a note to them but couldn't get the font large enough (for his eyes) so he hand-wrote it.  He was apologetic, but that was an even better gift!

We haven't seen his 'famous face drawing' in a few years!  He used to be well known for leaving this drawing on the dirty/dusty cars of neighborhood friends any time he saw them.  :D

Personally, I think these should be framed!  A wonderful keepsake.  :D

I gave Hannah a set of 4 Travel Diary jigsaw puzzles by MasterPieces.
I have really enjoyed that series and thought she might also.

I also gave her these gripper things.  Maverick was wearing one as a hat
(after Zac showed him how).  :D

When you aren't quite ready to go home just yet...  :D

Hannah helped Maverick feel happier during his 6 minute 'midwest goodbye'.  :D

it is great fun to look through glass doors and make faces  :)

He was laughing so hard!

One of his shoes fell off and she was going to help put it back on... then they decided to switch shoes.  Mav was all over that idea!  He gave her his shoes and then put on her shoes.  :)  So funny!  And kind of hard to walk - that is a lot of 'foot' down there for a little guy!

Time to switch back to his own shoes and go home...

When he got his shoes back on he stomped and stomped his feet in glee.  He loved her shoes but there is nothing like shoes that fit your feet and let you move well!  :)  So cute.  :)

Great day with family celebrating Hannah and Jackson!  Here is a little bit of video.
