Elf, the Musical!

The high school fall musical this year was Elf.  And it was fantastic!  So well done!!  The young man who played Buddy the Elf was so much fun to watch.  He embodied that character perfectly!  I loved seeing all the young people in the play.  So many talented kids!  Cody played the part of Buddy the Elf's step-brother.  Too cute.  Shonda got me a ticket with them in the reserved section.  One funny thing... Scott and Anne had randomly purchased the two reserved seats that were right next to mine!  That worked out perfectly!  :)

Tigers Football Hall of Fame

This was a fun evening.  The 1950 Kirksville Tigers football team was honored at halftime during the 9/14/18 KHS game.  The 1950 team, along with two others, were inducted into the Orange and Black Foundation Hall of Fame.  Since Daddy was a member of that football team, I went along to document.  :)

KHS Music Celebrity Dinner

Saturday night we joined Brian and Nancy at the KHS Music department Celebrity Band Dinner.  It was our first time back since 2014 when Brianna was a senior in high school.  We enjoyed it tremendously - the music, the food, and the company around the table.

West Side Story

Cody had a role in the KHS musical production of West Side Story.  It was a great play and the kids all did a wonderful job.  I love seeing Cody stepping into drama/musical performance.  He is a natural performer.  Definitely takes me back to watching his big sister, Brianna!
