For a person who already has a 'problem' with photos... having a new grandson is surely not helping that. :) I am already pricing out bigger and more reliable external hard drives for photo storage. The struggle is real. ;)
The day after Maverick's birth was filled with receiving photos and updates from Jackson all day long. I awoke to this photo on my phone.
I was completely done before I even got out of bed. My baby holding his baby. They always say grandparents feel something special and I couldn't quite figure it out. But I think I am beginning to understand now. The double whammy of seeing your own precious 'baby' as a parent to a new precious baby... it is just almost too much! Such joy!

Jackson, Brianna and Maverick remained at the hospital one more night. They suggested we get the extended family together for a zoom meeting to introduce Maverick to everyone. We all gathered that evening and everyone was thrilled to meet the newest member of the family - our first in Generation #4. Brianna looked absolutely radiant in that blue - motherhood suits her beautifully. Love their new little family.
