Wacky Weather

Had more crazy weather in April.  We had days in the 70's with sunshine that were just beautiful!  (and so welcomed!)  Then we had 5-6 inches of snow, followed by more days in the 70's with sunshine.  I guess winter wanted one last hurrah.

These photos were taken April 16 and 17.

The first photos were taken early in the morning, April 16.  The snow had fallen overnight.  (note - we did the drive by bird seed toss the evening before!!!)

Just a few hours later, around noon, it was all starting to melt away.

this made me laugh... snow on the bags of pool salt.  :)

nearly all gone by 1:00 pm on the 16th

Then about 5:00 pm on that very same day, the second storm arrived.

this one had snow AND some ice

by 6:00 pm the snowflakes were huge!

It was pretty out my window

The morning of the 17th.  the aftermath of the previous days snows (2 of them!). Luckily, the temps were warm enough that none of it stayed on the ground long.  Even though we got between 5-6 inches total.
