Last week we had the opportunity to enjoy two wonderful musical performances. On Tuesday we attended the
True Men Spring concert to cheer Matthew on. Brianna and Shonda joined us in meeting up with Brenda and family (Matt was out of town) to enjoy a fun evening of entertainment. Matthew even had a solo!
Here is a link to a video that they played during the concert. It was pretty cute, actually - a takeoff on some familiar commercials. You can see Matthew throughout the video, including with his dog in one particularly funny spot. See him again dressed as Spike the Bulldog near the end of the video - using his TKD black belt skills! :)

The biggest surprise of the evening, however, was when one of the singers sang
Marry Me and then proposed to his girlfriend onstage. It was a truly touching and sweet moment and I had to give the guy a lot of credit for courage!! Matthew and his fellow bandmates were all in on the surprise and shared in the joy expressed by the audience when she said 'Yes'!

Then on Thursday evening we attended Brianna's Spring Choir concert. What a talented group of kids and what a hard-working choir director. The evening was a success and we enjoyed seeing and hearing not only Brianna, but several other friends of Jackson.

Afterward we enjoyed ice cream and visiting at Dairy Queen with Brianna's family. Jackson remembered to bring Jeremy and Shonda the gift he had gotten them at
World Fest. He began to wonder if it had been a good idea... but thankfully they loved it! What a terrific couple! :)
