New Sewer Line

Sept. 15-17, 2021

Work began on replacing Daddy's old sewer line and septic tank mid-September.  The new tank is 1000 gallons instead of the old 750 gallons.  And the new sewer line won't have the problem of all the roots growing through it.  So this is a very good and exciting thing! :)

Plus, it is always a plus to have construction equipment working in the yard when you have a curious little fellow around.  Nothing like first hand viewing of all this cool stuff to make for an exciting time!

As Marvin and Maverick were walking down to get a good look at things, Maverick could hear the machinery noises and was really paying attention...

Here he is making his own machinery noises.  :)

Now it is getting louder and closer!!

Look Maverick!  :)

Marvin took him over to stand by and watch for awhile.  Maverick was entranced!  He loved it!  Dennis and another fellow talked to them - the younger guy said he has a child about the same age and really got a kick out of Maverick being so interested.  This was a front row seat to some really exciting stuff!

I went inside to visit with Daddy - he was sitting in his chair in the bedroom.  Another front row seat!  Who wants to watch anything else when this is going on outside your window?  :)

I took lots of photos and video so Maverick can see it all over and over again.  :)
Like his own 'Hard Hat Harry' videos.

At this point the job is completed and they have all left.  The yard is now ready to reseed and go back to 'normal'.  It looks nice and peaceful.

This is such a beautiful yard... the yard of my childhood.

Location of the new septic tank - down in the front field.
