From there we went to Dillards to help Lisa look for a 'mother of the groom' dress. We picked out a few for her to try on, but when she got to the one that Melinda had found, we all agreed that was 'the dress'! She looked fantastic in it!! She found the dress and bought it and we were all on our way - in under 45 minutes! :)
We arrived at the Les Bourgeois Vineyards Winery for our 2:00 pm tour and tasting. We were greeted by our tour guide for the day, Augusta. She was a sweetheart! When we found out that we were going to be her first official tour we had to get a photo with her. :)
Augusta did a wonderful job on the tour and it was really quite interesting. We all learned something, I know.
This made me chuckle. One of the first things I noticed in this building was the 'Big Ass Fan'. Yes, that is the actual brand name of the fans. And they are appropriately named. ;) We see these at the state fair and Marvin always wishes he could afford one for the horse barn. :)

When we got to the barrel room we all thought of Lisa (who always smells oak in our wines.) :D We had her stand there and say her phrase... "I smell oak!" :D ha!

This reminded a few of us of a Laverne and Shirley episode... :D
Tour is over - heading back into the winery for the tasting.
We got to choose 8 wines off the list to taste.

Augusta's next tour group had arrived but we grabbed this quick photo with her before she had to leave. Such a sweet girl. Great tour!

Then it was on to the house we had rented. This turned out to be a great find! It was two units in one house and we rented both. A very nice unit, indeed. Highly recommended.
These were the two front doors. The door on the left goes up to the loft unit while the door on the right is the larger downstairs unit.

This was just one room of the lower level unit - there were two murphy beds in this one. How fun!

Most ladies decided to hike out to the A-frame. The Katy Trail runs through Rocheport here. Very nice!

Then it was back to the house to make individual pizzas for supper! :)
We congregated in the loft upstairs since it was one big open room. Very nice and spacious enough to make everyone's pizza.

Finally it was time for a game of Reverse Charades. Fun game! Very much like Rollick. :D

Dear Lisa had purchased gift items from Marshalls and gave them out to all as prizes for the game. Dana and I both chose this red high heel wine bottle holder with wine bottle stopper. :D
The next morning we got a group photo before we headed to downtown Rocheport.
Rocheport is a lovely and quaint little town.

Our group had a lovely time in Rocheport. We would definitely go again!
