World Fest 2015 Day 1

We accomplished a lot during our first day in Silver Dollar City.  The place was packed but we managed to get in to see several shows.

These 3 musicians from Cirque Zuma Zuma were fascinating.

Cirque Zuma Zuma

I always love hearing steel drums!  Stix on Steel from Trinidad and Tobago

Mama and Daddy after hearing Stix on Steel.

Rojina about to try her first 'potato on a stick'!  :)

Rojina and I walked across the swinging bridge.

we spent a little time watching the water mill

We arrived at the candy factory just in time to see these ladies make peanut brittle.

It was an interesting process to watch.

spreading out the hot peanut brittle

We even got to be among the first to sample the fresh peanut brittle.  :)

Rojina got some salt water taffy.

Wilderness Church

Love this inside view of Wilderness Church.
Particularly the verse above the picture window.

Looking back out of Wilderness Church.
We have attended Sunday services here.

Equador Manta playing at the Gazebo.  Always a favorite!!

McHaffie Homestead, built in 1843.  Rojina was fascinated by all the old buildings.
