My wonderful husband is planning a couple large projects for my benefit for the summer. What a guy! He is going to build me a covered patio adjacent to the existing patio and he is going to set up the new (slightly larger) above ground pool and build a larger deck around it. The plan is to leave that pool up year round - he thinks he has figured out a good way to make this work. It is a LOT of work he is undertaking! It will take him awhile because he will be working on this mainly alone and in the midst of everything else he does... but it will happen!

I was definitely sick... :( But Marvin was showing the me the marked out area for the new covered patio - and that definitely brought my spirits up. What a wonderful man!!

Marvin and the boys were trying to get those posts put in (putting posts in the holes and then pouring the concrete in around them) before the rains that came overnight into the next day. They got it done, which was good, because boy, we got a lot of rain!
