You Don't Have to go it Alone

Years ago our boys had two wonderful babysitters named Miriam and Katharine.  They were nursing students here at Truman and were invaluable to us (and many of our friends!)  Our whole family just fell in love with Miriam and Katharine and we have enjoyed watching as they each married and started their own special families.

A few weeks ago I received a phone call from their Mom, Kitty, letting me know she had just published her first book entitled You Don't Have to go it Alone.  She mentioned that she would be in our town the following week and offered to do a book reading for a few of my friends.  What a lovely opportunity.

Tuesday after we returned from our trip to Christmas Fest, a few friends joined me and Kitty for a light brunch, good discussion and a reading of an excerpt of Kitty's book.  What a very nice day.
