Sarge's Rice

There is a little restaurant down in Tennessee called Sarge's Shack.  It is known for its steak and rice and they are truly yummy.  After eating there in August I came home determined to recreate that rice.  I didn't quite get it, but I think I came pretty close.  Everyone liked it so we will definitely have it again.

Sarge's Rice
2 1/2 cups chicken broth (or 2 1/2 cups water and 3 chicken bouillon cubes)
1 packet of Lipton Dry Onion Soup Mix
1/4 cup soy sauce (could also use Dale Sauce and a bit less of the onion soup mix)
1 1/4 cups Minute Brown Rice (uncooked)
1 cup Minute Rice (uncooked)

Cook the rice in the chicken broth, onion soup mix and soy sauce.

We served this with steak filets topped with sauteed onions and mushrooms.  Good stuff!
