Dropped by Jackson's in mid-September and got an update on the kitchen renovation. I am so impressed by his handiwork - doing all of this himself. That boy has skills!!! :) The countertops were in his garage - about ready to be installed in the kitchen. Backsplash tile was up and painting was in progress. Then a couple days later we dropped by as he and Brianna were finishing up installing their new farmhouse sink and faucet. Beautiful!

Shonda and I got one more day of pool fun in - on Brianna's birthday (Sept. 17). We thought it was a grand way to celebrate her! ha! :) Actually, at this point we knew we were going to be Grandma's but it was still a secret. So we felt we had better just hang out together away from the public because we wanted to shout it from the rooftops!! ha! We also got the whole 'Grandma' thing figured out this day in the pool. :) We are ready!!!
A few days later Brenda came to enjoy one final summery dip in the pool. It was a bit chilly, but we did it!! This was the last pool day of the season - September 30. Until next summer...
