Random November

Snippets from November...

I so enjoyed hearing the KHS Chamber Choir perform at Sojourners Club in early November.  Always a real treat!  I took a video of their performance of a song composed by my dear friend, Rich.  You can see it at the bottom of this post.

My friend, Lora, doing an interview with the local news station to promote the Thanksgiving Day dinner hosted by Cornerstone Church.

It was a pleasure to get to see Jim and Lucy when they stopped by.

Mama and Daddy hosted 4 young ladies who are members of the Central Methodist University Chorale.  The CMU Chorale performed a concert at our church as part of their 2017 tour and various members of the church provided their overnight stay in their homes.  I had the pleasure of having breakfast with them the next morning at Mama and Daddy's house.  We sure enjoyed visiting with these young ladies.

It is always good to get together for lunch with dear friends.  Especially when we can meet for lunch at Take Root Cafe.  :)

Housemade Butternut Cream Gnocchi

Lovely detritus from a super luncheon meeting - we got a lot accomplished and had a good time doing it!

This made me sad... my Mothers Day gift from Jackson and Brianna a few years ago fell off our piano and broke.  :(

Daddy and Mama got a new TV that required a different TV stand.  Marvin put this one together for them in our mud room.  It looks really nice!
