Pulled Pork

Experimenting with some new pulled pork recipes.  This one is getting close to my desired end result.  Not quite there yet, but good.  Will definitely update when I get the 'right' recipe, though.

Pulled Pork
1 Tbsp. paprika
1 Tbsp. onion powder
1 Tbsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. black pepper
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
BBQ sauce of your choice
5 pound pork butt

Mix seasonings together then rub onto surface of pork butt.  Place in a ziploc bag and refrigerate overnight.  I added a little bit of water to help the seasonings mix around and soak in.  The next day, preheat oven to 250 degrees and place in a Pampered Chef stoneware baker, covered, or a regular baking pan and cover with foil.  Let slow cook for several hours (5?) until the meat shreds with a fork.  This would also work well in a crockpot.  Be sure to check on the pork to see if you need to add any water to keep it from getting dry.  You could also add ½-1 cup of water at the beginning as a safeguard.

When meat is cooked and shredded, serve on a bun or plain with your favorite BBQ sauce.
