Daddy attended the Missouri Squires Christmas reception at the Governor's Mansion. Julie was able to drive him down for the event.
Daddy was sure happy to see this lady. She has worked in the Governor's office for many years and they have a long history together. She came to the car to greet Daddy and was pretty excited to see him, too!
This year was special because there were two new inductees to the Squires - both nominated by Daddy. The first was Rhonda Vincent, a wonderful, award-winning bluegrass musician from NE Missouri.
The second was Dr. Margaret Wilson, a physician and Dean at ATSU from Kirksville.
Daddy with his dear friend for many years, Judge Mary Rhodes Russell. She was one of his chemistry students back in the day! And was also on the Truman Board when he was President.
