The fellas have been getting so much done around here. They have cleaned out both the small barn and the horse barn. What jobs! They are also doing all the basic maintenance for the houses and land. And lots of odd jobs sprinkled in here and there.
There is a lot of fencing on the docket for the summer. First up will be replacing the fence along the drive to our house, next to the small barn. Jackson got started on the dismantling one morning before we even left for our walk.
There is never an end to the mowing. :)
Boy, this has been quite a job! Jackson and Jonathan undertook the gargantuan task of doing a deep cleaning on the horse barn. It had been awhile. But they work well together and got it done.
This is a before photo... walls needed to be deep cleaned and the base under the mats needed to be re-worked.
They dug out the old base and put in nice new crusher rock in all the stalls.
Power washing the stall mats.
All put back together again.
You may not be able to tell, but the arena looks so much better!
Here are more pictures of their tackling of the small barn. They did the
first stage of cleaning back in May. But they completed the job in June.

Daddy built this red sled many years ago for the grandkids. It could hold all of them and be pulled behind the truck.
