This newspaper clipping was resurrected on a Facebook group last year. I saved it and thought I would post it here for posterity. 101 years ago (almost) my grandparents got married... December 31, 1919.
This was the year I was pregnant with Jackson and so we didn't get to come home for Christmas. While that was sad, it was for a very good reason! And we spent many a wonderful Christmas season after this year celebrating in that grand old house.
