Mother's Day

Mother's Day 2018 started off especially sweetly when our church recognized graduating high school seniors - and this year, Jonathan is one of them!  You can see him standing on the far right in the blue shirt.  We are so proud of him!  His graduation party isn't until May 25, so you can be sure that you will be seeing a few more posts all about him between now and then!  :D

This isn't my photo, nor are they all 'my kids', but I claim them all in my heart!  So I thought I would just share it here.  :)  Besides, Shonda and I have this 'co-Momming' thing down pretty well, so I don't think she would mind.  :)

Shonda stood correctly to make the picture work... I didn't get that memo.  :D  :D  :D

Thankful to be a 'co-Mom' with this lady.
(We have been told that calling ourselves
'Sister/Moms' might give a wrong impression...)
;)  ha!

We were trying to get a good photo of Shonda and Peggie -
but the wind was not cooperating!

It kept blowing their hair around and into each others faces...

:D

you should see the ones I didn't post!  :D

there were some pretty good ones...  :)

Matt and Jonathan B headed to the pond for some good fishing!

Although my sweet Mama wasn't feeling quite up to joining in for all the festivities at lunch, I was able to spend time with her afterward.  She is doing well with her recovery - but is trying to take it easy and be smart.  However, if you look carefully, you can see her (with Daddy) walking in her yard to check out the area in front of their bedroom (near that big ole tree on the right).  I am so blessed to have a Mama like her.  Grateful every day!
