We loved getting to surprise Karen with a birthday cake one evening before Grace Girls. I laughed when Chris pulled out the candles for the cake. She said she had forgotten to get new candles and these were in her cabinet - probably from forgetting to use them for one of her kids. That really made me laugh because I have quite a few 'number candles' in my own cupboard for the very same reason! However, Karen approved of the number 18 and we all decided that was a great plan for all our future birthday cakes. ;)
