Red Barn Festival

Saturday was the annual Red Barn Arts and Crafts Festival downtown.  After the terrible weather of the week leading up to the festival, we were all happy to see blue sky and sunshine!  It seemed like most of the town was out and about enjoying the exhibits, food, and music.  Mama, Julie, Jonathan and I went together, but quickly met up with Brenda, her Aunt Susan, her sister Bonnie, and Melina.  Jackson showed up just in time to get his photo taken with Peggie and Earl who were in town to visit Shonda and family.  How wonderful to get to see them!

After spending a few hours walking around the festival we gathered for lunch at Chen's Palace.  Then it was off to see Brianna perform for the very first time with the all women a cappella group 'Minor Detail'.  (This is sort of the female version of "True Men", which Matthew participates in.)  They did a great job and it was fun to see her up there with the group.
