July 18, 2015. It had finally arrived!! What an exciting and much anticipated day!
By 9:00 a.m. the house was bustling with preparations. Carrie had arrived to do hair and makeup for the bridal party. Family members were helping out with all the last minute details. And then a storm blew in! We had a thunderstorm late morning that was strong enough to knock down chairs at the wedding site. Thankfully, we had been able to get out there to lay down the trellis and bring some of the more fragile decor back inside beforehand. That also meant that much of the wedding decor would have to wait until about 1:30 that afternoon to be completed. Considering we were to have family photos taken at 4:00 pm, that was pushing things a little bit. :D

Aftermath of the storm that rolled through. It knocked a few
chairs over but all was fixable. :) |
At this point I simply have to say again how much we appreciate all that so many did to help us have this wedding. The entire week was so chock full of blessings that my heart swells to think about any of it! From the time Marvin
entered the ER to the end of the wedding evening, we have been so incredibly blessed by the love and labor of so many. We cannot thank you enough for your loving service.
