Catching up

Thanksgiving Day we received these wonderful photos from our cousin, David, showing that James was with them for their family gathering.  What a joy and a comfort to know James was still with family since he couldn't be home with all of us.   Brought a smile to each of us to see these pictures!  :)

So, what do you do the day after you become engaged?  Well, for Jackson, the answer was to go deer hunting with Jeremy, the father of the future bride!  Ha!  (I am sure there are many good jokes that could come from that scenario!)  :)  Although it was Jackson's first time to actually go hunting, he has grown up shooting and is a pretty good marksman.  He got this deer with one shot Saturday morning!  And now he has deer meat in the freezer for the winter.  Good deal!

We continue to put the finishing touches on Jonathan's room.  He now has a side table and a new (to him) bookcase, as well as a cushy new office chair that we found on a great sale this last weekend.  Jonathan came home and immediately put it together.  Boy, is it comfy!!
