What a magnificent day! Kerry and Candace (plus Rachel and Susanna) got into town last night. They went to Hannah's house first and arrived at Mama and Daddy's around midnight, I think. So our first time to see them was Saturday. We were having a cookout at our house for lunch. It was SO good to see them and hug them and spend time together. We hadn't seen each other since Christmas 2019. Wow! It was at the same moment joyful, surreal, and natural. So normal and yet so missed over the last year. What a joy-filled day!
We had to do some weird configuring with the tables to make room for 14 people since I still have the computer set up in the dining room. That just can't last. I love it there so much (who knew?) but it really isn't practical. Not with family gatherings and wine club and eventually Christmas (where to put the tree??). So, its days in the dining room are numbered, I am afraid. :(

We all laughed at the 'sad pie'. ha!
These two were telling the tale of Chloe's birth.
Zac was in the living room reading books with Maverick. Maverick was pretty happy about that. :)
Zac makes excellent animal noises. :D
Maverick has lots of people to play with him - he is enjoying this family reunion! :D
Maverick begging Aunt Julie for a potato chip. :D He got one! ha!
Maverick making the rounds. :)
Coming back around to Aunt Julie for another chip. :)
Maverick was trying to decide about Zac being down on the ground... Hannah was encouraging Maverick to poke him. Zac was wisely slipping his photo back in his pocket and out of Maverick's reach. :D
Hannah took several of us on a tour of her work - the Child Development Center. What a great place with the right philosophy of child-led play to learn. Impressive! These photos were taken in the outside play area - what a fabulous play structure!
