We had the lovely surprise earlier this month of James getting leave time following his graduation from Special Ops training. Since Rachel and Stephen had just moved to Cedar Falls (right in the middle of one of the many blizzards we have had lately!) they were also able to come down for the weekend. I think we can get used to having them just 4 hours away!! :)
So what do we do when family gathers? As James said, 'We do what we do best - get together and talk & eat!" :) Saturday night was at our house, Sunday after church was at Julie's house and then Monday was back at our house.
